Point the camera at your plate. The AI identifies the foods and estimates each portion. You can adjust the size of every item with a slider before saving.
Photograph your meal and NutriLens estimates calories, protein, carbs and fat. No searching through food lists, no weighing. It also works by voice or a single typed sentence.
Free to start. No card required to create an account.
How it works
Use whichever is fastest in the moment. The result is the same: the meal lands in your day with macros calculated.
Point the camera at your plate. The AI identifies the foods and estimates each portion. You can adjust the size of every item with a slider before saving.
Hold the button and speak: “two scrambled eggs, a slice of whole-grain bread and a coffee with milk.” Useful when you have already eaten and took no photo.
Describe the meal in writing. Good for quiet places, or when the plate has already left the table.
Important: these values are estimates produced by artificial intelligence from what appears in the photo or from what you describe. They are meant for following trends over time, not for exact measurement. NutriLens is not a medical or nutrition service and does not replace advice from a qualified health professional.
Why log
Any goal — losing fat, gaining muscle or holding your weight — depends on the relationship between what you eat and what you spend. Without a log, that relationship is guesswork.
Sugar in the coffee, a handful of nuts, the dressing on the salad. Each looks irrelevant on its own; added up across a week, they are usually the difference between progress and a plateau.
From your weight, height, age and activity level, the app computes your basal metabolic rate and daily expenditure, then converts your goal into calorie and macro targets. You start knowing how much still fits today.
After a few weeks of logging you begin estimating on your own. That is the point: to teach you to read a meal, not to tie you to an app.
Weight swings with water, salt and time of day. With meal history and weight history side by side, a single odd day is easy to tell apart from a real multi-week trend.
The main reason food diaries get abandoned is the friction of manual entry. Reducing a log to one photo is what gets people to week three — when the habit starts holding on its own.
With history filled in, questions get concrete: what to adjust at dinner, where protein is falling short. Subscribers get an in-app chat assistant.
In the app
Calories and macros consumed against your target, updated with every meal you log.
Your meals day by day plus the week's reading, so you see patterns instead of episodes.
Weight logging with a trend chart and tracking against your target weight.
A daily water target derived from your profile, logged in a single tap.
Nudges at the times you choose, so logging does not pile up at the end of the day.
Ask about your eating with the context of what you logged. Available on paid plans.
Plans
What separates the plans is how many analyses you get per day and whether you see ads. Logging, history and targets are in every plan, free one included.
Pricing and billing: each plan's price is shown inside the app, in your country's currency, because the subscription is processed by the App Store or Google Play. Renewal is automatic and you can cancel in the store at any time. Daily limits may be adjusted — see section 6 of the Terms of Use.
